Game Types and Rules

Scenario Games

There are dozens of different scenario games. They include pretty much anything a paintball game’s organizer can think of. Some of the most famous include World War 2 simulation paintball games, a paintball game that focuses on defending a castle, and various military simulations that involve paintball tanks and other vehicles.

Woodsball

Woodsball paintball games are paintball games that take place in a large woods setting. The paintball games tend to typically be capture the flag or deathmatch style games.

Capture the flag paintball games are paintball games where each team has a base and each base has a flag. While playing these paintball games players have to get the other team’s flag and bring it back to their own base where their flag is. These paintball games have varying rules when it comes to number of players on each team and size of the field. The paintball deathmatch games are paintball games where the last man on either team win for that team. Once a team is eliminated completely that team is out.

Arena Speedball

This is what is usually played in big tournaments. In these paintball games the field is wide open except for man-made bunkers. The bunkers are in different shapes and sizes and players of these paintball games are expected to shoot a lot and use intense strategy and skill. They use techniques like firing into a lane so nobody can run through it (called throwing ropes) and flanking players who are concealed behind a bunker. It is the most intense and fast-pace form of paintball.
